EthSign Moderators

Discord Rules

Please keep the server safe for work and remember not to spam. This includes but is not limited to repetitive messages, emojis, images, reactions, block letter embeds, or copy-pastes.

Please treat each other, the moderators, and EthSign's team members with respect. Being toxic or otherwise unpleasant may result in a ban. Be excellent to each other.

Advertising content and spamming - by sending repetitive messages, emojis, images, or reactions - is not tolerated in this server or DMs. Harmful content (such as viruses, pornographic, or violent content) has no place in this server or the DMs of our users and results in an immediate and permanent ban.

No inappropriate profiles (usernames, nicknames, avatars, linked accounts, playing status). This can include zalgo, blank names, block letters, unusual Unicode, political views, attention-seeking names, overly lengthy usernames, slurs, or any other offensive material. While emojis are fun to have and play with, please make sure they aren’t overly excessive! Please read the channel topics and pinned messages to make sure you're staying on topic!

Remember to read frequently asked questions before asking queries.

We highly discourage market manipulation and conversations related to it (including shilling altcoins, pump and dump schemes, etc.) on this server.

Please keep chat and questions in English only. Use language-specific channels or regional community channels for speaking in other languages. This list does not constitute the full set of rules, and our staff may take action on misbehavior and violations that are not explicitly listed above. At all times, use common sense and good judgment for any action you're about to take.

Discord Moderator responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Kicking/banning/muting members that disobey admin rules.

  • Deleting spam/harmful messages according to the admin rules.

  • Keeping an active and vibrant community in respective language channels.

  • Directing members to the correct channels.

Teamwork is Key

When dealing with moderation issues, seeking help from fellow staff members always seems like optimal assistance. Getting another person’s opinion on a topic may help you to see things from a different angle, or reinforce your judgment. Taking everyone’s perspective into account can help you master even the most difficult problems, and it takes weight off your shoulders to let other people know about your concerns. You are part of a team and do not have to act alone.

Respectful Treatment

Another consideration when it comes to public appearance is respect for your fellow moderators. A successful staff team flourishes when all of its members work together. It is not expected of you to become the best of friends with every single staff member, but one thing you should never do is talk badly about fellow staff in public or do things you know will cause a bad reaction on their part. If you have any issues regarding any individuals, you should address them in private or get the EthSign core team involved if there are more severe issues going on.

Payment on Dework: 200 USDT for each language community EthSign Moderator. NFT will be given to moderators who successfully demonstrated great work attitude after three months of being granted the role.
